Ashok (Roshan Seth), a lonely professor shows up at his son Siddharth’s (Sendhil Ramamurthy) doorstep one fine day only to startle the young lad. Sid, who is currently undergoing a separation from his wife, Ellie (Cassidy Freeman), attempts to paint a perfect picture in front of his father. While he is busy trying to cover up the dust from the broken pieces of his life, Ashok has a hidden agenda of his own. More than the need to see his son, Ashok is on a mission to regain his lost love Helen West (Mary Steenburgen). Over time, the two uncover one another’s secret and much needed bond forms between father and son.

As father and son, Mahesh Pailoor and Anu Pradhan’s Ashok and Siddharth redefine the term companionship. Roshan Seth and Sendhil Ramamurthy have nurtured their characters to prevent the audience with an extraordinary chemistry. Mary Steenburgen and Cassidy Freeman as Helen and Ellie compliment Ashok and Sid well providing a sense of completion to the story. In all, Brahmin Bulls is a heart touching story of father and son which you simply cannot afford to miss.

Urban Asian gives the film a 4/5.
