Call him a one man wonder or an over night sensation, all praises fall short when describing Ranveer of Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi. On June 24th, Ranveer completed a year long journey which led him from being a normal house servant to a the CEO of a vast business. Now with all the twists and turns happening on the show, Ranveer is trying to keep his clam. We got in touch with the man behind Ranveer, Shakti Arora to see what he had to say about his year long experience with Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi and much more. Here are his thoughts!
Meri Aashqui Tumse Hi completes one year on June 24th. What has the journey been like?
It was like a roller coaster ride filled with fun and excitement.
Of all the cast members whom are you closest to?
I would have to say Gautam Gupta who plays Sharman on the show.
What is the funniest incident to have occurred on set?
Nowadays, whenever I see Smriti (Ritika) enacting a negative scen I find it funny. I still have a hard time digesting that she is negative character.
Which Ranveer do you personally identify with? Ranveer from prior to the leap or the RV that he is now?
The current, RV!
Everyone is buzzing to know when Ishaani and Ranveer are getting back together. Will their differences subside soon?
Yes they will be back together soon but that is all that I will say.
If you were ever stuck in a situation similar to Ranveer’s what would you do?
I wouldn’t even want to attract such a situation but thinking about it.
Arjun Bijlani is the newest member on set. What is it like working with him?
It’s definitely a pleasure. He is a fun guy, full of life and a very good friend of mine.
You and Neha recently participated in Nach Baliye. How was your experience?
It was great. It was through Nach Baliye and this whole experience that I realized that even I can dance!
Of all the characters you have played till date, which do you relate to the most?
It would have to be RV!
