Zee TV and Sphereorigin’s upcoming show, Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani will start an extensive outdoor shoot. The cast of the show will be flying to Rajasthan on June 17th for the shoot. The show stars Drashti Dhami and Siddhant Karnick. Surekha Sikri, Darshan Zariwala and Pawan Mahendru will be seen playing pivotal roles in the show.
Akshay Anand and Parull Chaudhry recently joined the talented cast. They have been paired opposite one another and will seen doing negative characters’ in the show. Akshay will essay Siddhant’s uncle’s role. Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani is a period drama set in the 1940s and is essentially a love story.
Gayatri (Drashti) is from a rich and influential family, however, she she lacks love and support from her family due to her being manglik. The superstitions surrounding being manglik have kept her from finding a good husband. Despite the fear of the effect of her being manglik can have on her husband, Rana Indravadhan (Siddhant) accepts her as his second wife. It will be left to be seen as to whether or not Rana wholeheartedly accepts her as his wife or not.
