Step aside everyone, it’s time for television to take over. Up until recently, television was seen as a secondary media but with addition of more gripping stories, brilliant acting and hard working actors and crew members, Indian television has witnessed a rapidly increasing upward spiral of growth. With more and more television actors being acknowlgeded for their contribution to the art of motion pictures, there is no turning back!
Last year, television personalities Gautam Rode and Hina Khan were awarded the honorable Dada Saheb Phalke Award and now it’s Ravi Dubey and Rubina Dilaik who has taken the trophy home.
Ravi Dubey who is currently seen on Zee TV’s popular show Jamai Raja and Rubina Dilaik of Chhoti Bahu were felicitated with this very prestigious award at the Dada Saheb Phalke Foundation Film Awards held in Mumbai on April 21st.
