‘Belly of the Tantra‘ screened at Columbia University in New York on April 15th, 2015. Following the screening, an in depth Q/A took place detailing the arduous physical and mental challenge of confronting the Aghoris featured in the film and the unconventional process of making the documentary that took over a year to shoot. The audience, comprised of faculty and students, was extremely inquisitive about the rituals and subject matter explored and had many thought provoking questions. This was a tremendous honor for the filmmakers.
Director Pankaj Purohit and Producers Babita Modgil and J.G. Weaver were present to discuss the film with the audience.
