First Group of Presenters for 71st Annual Golden Globe Awards Announced!

The 71st Annual Golden Globe ® Awards will be taking place on January 12, 2014.  As always, the buzz for this prestigious award show begins weeks in advance.  Fans are always intrigued by who will present, who will attend the show, and of course, who will win this coveted award.  I can’t tell you who the winners are, but I can help fulfill your desire to know the presenters, as the first group of presenters have been announced by the Hollywood foreign press!

If this list is any indication of the quality of this year’s awards, then it is seems it will be one spectacular show!  The names include:

  • Kevin Bacon (2010 Golden Globe Award winner; 1995,1997 Golden Globe Award nominee)
  • Julie Bowen
  • Laura Dern (2012, 2009, 1993 Golden Globe Award winner; 1999, 1992 Golden Globe Award nominee; 1982 Miss. Golden Globe)
  • Robert Downey Jr. (2010, 2001, 1994 Golden Globe winner; 2009, 1993 Golden Globe Award nominee)
  • Jimmy Fallon
  • Colin Farrell (2009 Golden Globe Award winner)
  • Mila Kunis (2011 Golden Globe Award nominee)
  • Jennifer Lawrence (2014 Golden Globe Award nominee for Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role in a Motion Picture; 2013 Golden Globe Award winner; 2011 Golden Globe Award nominee)
  • Uma Thurman (2003 Golden Globe Award winner; 2005, 2004, 1995 Golden Globe Award nominee)
  • Reese Witherspoon (2006 Golden Globe Award winner; 2002, 2000 Golden Globe Award nominee)

Also presenting will be Emma Watson, Channing Tatum, Olivia Wilde, Liam Neeson, Margot Robbie and Chris Pine.

The star-studded ceremony will be hosted by actresses/comedians, Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, for the second year in a row!  The awards will air on Sunday, January 12, 2014, LIVE coast-to-coast on NBC with the pre-show from 4:00-5:00 p.m. (PST)/7:00-8:00 p.m. (EST), and main telecast from 5:00-8:00 p.m. (PST)/8:00-11:00 p.m. (EST) from the Beverly Hilton. The 71st Annual Golden Globe Awards will be seen in more than 192 countries and is produced by Dick Clark productions in association with the Hollywood Foreign Press Association.
