Post musical melodies ‘Maana Ke Hum Yaar Nahi’ and ‘Hareeya’, the ‘Meri Pyaari Bindu’ makers have now released a song ‘Ye Jawaani Teri’, which is both a musical melody and a dance number.
The basic reason for it, is that the song simply reminds you of Shammi Kapoor, with dance steps also borrowed from him.

However this is not the first time Parineeti Chopra has paid an ode to Shammi Kapoor through her movie. One of her films ‘Hasee Toh Phasee’ also had a song dedicated to Shammi, titled ‘Shake It Like Shammi’, which was Sidharth Malhotra‘s introductory song in the movie.
