A number of films hit the silver screen this Friday from ‘Begum Jaan’ to ‘The Fate Of The Furious’. The IPL matches played a deterrent this weekend with films like ‘Begum Jaan’ and ‘The Fate of the Furious’ seeing a fall in numbers.
Though ‘Begum Jaan’ had a great start at the box office with opening day figures of 3.94 crores, the movie saw a decline in the second day making 3.5 crores at the box office followed by ‘The Fate Of The Furious’ with figures of 19 crores and 10 crores respectively. Punjabi Fim ‘Manje Bistre’ was also affected with figures of 2.25 crores and 2.18 crores.
Seems like the audiences are enjoying IPL more than movies.
