Shweta Subram has been one busy singer who has had a chance to work with some top names from the start of her career! Shweta is the recipient of multiple awards including the North American Best Singer award from Sangam Kala Group, and Best Singer Award from Shankar Mahadevan Academy’s talent hunt (judged by Shankar Mahadevan himself). She has done several independent projects, sung as a playback singer in Bollywood, and has done numerous live shows. This year, she has been releasing a series of covesr in her “Shwetapella” series. The first release was a cover of “Moh Moh Ke Dhaage” by Papon and Monali Thakur. Her second cover in the series is “Bol Do Na Zara” from the movie Azhar.
Regarding her reason for doing the song, Shweta shared, “I’m a big fan of the song Bol Do Na Zara by Armaan Malik and Amaal Malik from the movie Azhar starring Emraan Hashmi and Nargis Fakhri.” I am sure when you all hear it, you will be a big fan of her version too!
