Bollywood bans Pakistani stars!?

Yes you read right and its quite outrageous that in 2016 we’re still facing such an issue. These days it seems the world is going backwards in its time when it comes to the law, mentality and much more.

It seems India and Pakistan are not civil once again which means the entertainment industry must take the toll.

The MPPA has passed a resolution to the fight by banning Pakistani artists and technicians across the film, television, and theater mediums In India until a settlement comes together between both countries.

There’s no doubt the ban will affect several well established actors who have come household names within the country. One good is that upcoming releases featuring Pakistani artists will not include during the ban due to shooting for these film before the law was passed. These actors include: Ali Zafar in Dear Zindagi, Fawad Khan in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, and Mahira Khan in Shah Rukh Khan’s Raees.

According to our sources,

All the Pakistani actors who have already filmed in India, even if only for a day, will not be subjected to any delays or bans. These actors were granted permission by the Indian Government to work in the film industry. Now, they have all left the country and there will be no hindrance in the release of their projects.

We hope India and Pakistan can come to some sort of peace one day. This isn’t anything new, it seems to be an ongoing battle since 1947 and still continues to do so. We must spread love, not hate.
