The unique marriage of contemporary and tradition was evident as models graced the runway. Portraying the youthful ardour in her clothing line, Urvashi depicted the innate beauty of adventurers in the intricate detailing of the assemblage.

A composed colour palette included a monochromatic focal point that formed the footing of this collection. Slight hues of light and airy colours like ecru, cream and dusty white were infused with grey and hints of blush. Jamdani style of weaving was ombré and dip dyed to perfection with other techniques of Shibori, Kantha and block prints added to the allure. Fabrics also included knits with ribbed eye detailing; Khadi, wool, denims, cotton and linen were chosen to carry the grace of the designs.

Volume and construction were juxtaposed with the use of sheer and opaque textures. Silhouettes included Kimono style wraps that were paired with obis and judo belts, wide legged pants and fresh looking tunics added composure to the clothing line. Impressions of peek-a-boo knife pleats and cleverly placed accordion pleats were also hinted at in the compilation.

Apparels like the grey chevron maxi with pleating featured a wide border and the mute pink asymmetrical jumpsuit with a solitary sleeve along with the Obi-belted sleek saris complemented the collection with sophistication.

‘Pathika’ by Urvashi Kaur that literally translates into the traveller, brought to life the hidden wanderlust to anyone who dares to wear.
