The dashing hunk Kunal Kapoor who has played the ‘good guy’ in reel life with films like ‘Rang De Basanti’, ‘Aaja Nach Le’, ‘Laga Chunari Mein Daag’, etc; proves to be the ‘good guy’ in real life as well. The actor has co-founded the popular crowd-funding platform ‘Ketto’ which has raised close to Rs. 7cr for various social and creative causes.

The benevolent platform co-founded by Kunal has grabbed the attention of many renowned faces of B-Town, like Anushka Sharma, Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt, Shraddha Kapoor, Nargis Fakhri, Dia Mirza and many other corporates and individuals to raise funds for the rehabilitation of people affected by the Nepal earthquake and has managed to put together a whopping Rs. 1.2cr for the NGO, Care Nepal. The actor has now taken responsibility to go to Nepal and see first-hand the work that is being done.

“Ketto is something that is very close to my heart. Crowd funding is about getting people that need help and people that can help, together. And the campaign for Nepal is the best example of the power of it. We were overwhelmed by the support we got for this campaign. I really wanted to go to Nepal and see the work that is being done and also see what else needs to be done and how we can help”
