Hamari Adhuri Kahani had another original title?

Mohit Suri’s much awaited love saga Hamari Adhuri Kahani was almost non-existent. Well not exactly the film but it’s title! In a recent interview, Mohit Suri revealed that the film was originally to be titled Tum Hi Ho.

Mohit revealed that the reason for this title was the song Tum Hi Ho from Aashiqui 2 which was very close to his heart.

“I was in two minds as it (title) was not capturing the entire essence of Hamari Adhuri Kahani. It is so much more than a romantic film. It is a film with so much depth about love.It is during one of our brainstorming meetings that Vishesh Bhatt came up with the name Hamari Adhuri Kahani and it was just perfect. Vikram Bhatt had the title registered and he was kind enough to give it to us. This is the story of how we got the title of the film,”

Mohit Suri stated.

Hamari Adhuri Kahani is a romantic saga which questions societal norms in matters of love, commitment and marriage.

A Fox Star Studios production,starring Vidya Balan, Emraan Hashmi and Rajkummar Rao, will hit theaters on June 12.
