Tom Patel and Jerry Patel are no less than the real life version of the animated classics! The directionless, out of work duo share a small Mumbai apartment with little or no prospects of moving ahead in life.
Tom (Shiv Pandit) owes Ranchod Thakur (Varun Badola) a large sum of cash but the twist in the tale is that his daughter happens to be Tom’s girlfriend Hetal (Shazahn Padamsee). Naturally, Ranchod disapproves of Tom and gives him an ultimatum to return his money in two weeks. Jerry’s (Kettan Singh) big problem in life is a nagging girlfriend Aliya Desai (Vaishali Desai) who constantly pesters him to seal the deal with a ring! In a situation like this, Tom comes up with a ridiculous, obnoxious and shocking ‘Get-Rich-Quick’ scheme! And this is where things go haywire!
“Solid Patels” promises to be a joyful comedy targeting all age groups. It gives you clean and simple comedy of the Hrishikesh Mukherji era that will leave audiences cheering their way back home from the movie theater!
