Bollywood Legend Amitabh Bachchan Pays Tribute to Mahatma Gandhi!

What happens when two legends meet face to face? Well the scene looks as glorious as it it on March 14th in London when Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan unveiled the statue of the Father of India, Mahatma Gandhi.

Amitabh Bachchan made a speech during the unveiling ceremony of The latest statue of Mahatma Gandhi by British sculptor Philip Jackson in Parliament Square, London on Saturday. Amitabh Bachchan unveiled the statue with these words from Gandhi’s book, ‘The World of Tomorrow‘,

“Perhaps never before has there been so much speculation about the future as there is today. Will our world be always of violence, will there always be poverty, starvation, misery. Will we have a firmer belief in religion or will the world be godless. If there is to be a great change in the society, how will that change be wrought? By war or revolution or will it come peacefully. Different men give different answers to these questions. “

The event took place in the presence of Prime Minister David Cameron and Finance Minister Arun Jaitley.
