Super-sensational singer, Mr. Daler Mehndi, had a chance to return to his roots in Punjab for Baisakhi, the Sikh Festival and ancient Harvest Festival that celebrates the birth of “khalsa”.
Dalerji returned to his birth city and visited Akal Takht Shri Patna Sahib (“Patna Sahib”). Not only did Mehndi deliver a spellbound live performance, he also went to Akal Takht Shri Patna Sahib where his father, the Late Ajmer Singh was a Hazoori Raagi. As such, the trip was extra special and very memorable for Dalerji.
In addition, Dalerji went to Gurudwara Guru Ka Bagh where he planted a mango tree and also sought blessings and a mannat for his new project.
We have exclusive pics from the trip here on UrbanAsian! Check them out! How did you all celebrate Baisakhi (if you celebrate!)?
