Mohabbat from AR Rahman

Right now you might be asking yourself what more special things can AR Rahman give us? He has given the audience a bit of everything. From Bollywood to Hollywood and everything else in between. Since yesterday was Valentines Day; a day special to most of us, AR Rahman felt the love from his fans and decided to give back something special.

The soulful song ‘Kya Hai Mohabbat’ is unique as it marries A.R. Rahman’s musical score with inspirational lyricist Javed Akhtar’s touching lyrics, and is set to a collage of romantic moments spent between ‘Jessie’ (Amy Jackson) and ‘Sachin’ (Prateik Babbar) in the film. Adding further impetus to the song’s mass appeal is the appearance of A.R. Rahman and Javed Akhtar in the music video, and of A.R. Rahman’s melodic vocals on the track.

AR Rahman releases a video to his latest song Mohabbat, which he sings himself, from the upcoming film Ek Deewana Tha. The film opens only in theaters this Friday, February 17, 2011 at a city near you in New York, New Jersey, California, Texas, as well as in Ontario, Alberta, and British Columbia in Canada.
