Mr. and Mrs. Deshmukh Tie The Knot!

The day everyone was eagerly waiting for has finally arrived. The first wedding of 2012 was quite the grand event!

Actors Genelia D’Souza and Riteish Deshmukh tied the knot this morning at the Grand Hyatt at Santa Crus after dating for a long 8 years. They wedding had it all; a Baand, Baaja and Baarat!

Both the bride and groom looked amazing and complemented one another well. The wedding was a large Maharashtrian one with a few Catholic rituals conducted as well.

The wedding was attended by politians and well known film fraternity friends. Some of these included Shahrukh Khan, Amrita Rao, Ajay Devgun with wife Kajol, Abhishek Bachchan with mom Jaya Bachchan, Shahid Kapoor, Suniel Shetty, Jackie Shroff, Amin, John Abraham, Karan Johar accompanied by mother Hiroo, Akshay Kumar and many more.

Riteish made sure to keep his fans updated by tweeting a pic of him and his new bride moments after the wedding was done.

The two started dating during their first film together back in 2003 titled “Tujhe Meri Kasam“. They’ll be next seen on the big screen later this year with their next film called “Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya“.

The wedding reception of Genelia and Riteish will be held tomorrow in Mumbai and of course we’ll see many of our Bollywood faves there again.
