Katrina Kaif originally signed up for “Dhoom 3” with the condition that she would not be forced to wear a bikini or beach wear for any scene so the creators reluctantly removed the scene but instead they have finally agreed upon an acceptable outfit: she now has to wear shorts and a suitable top.
The crew of “Dhom 3” apparently tried to persuade Kaif to keep up the tradition of bikini-clad heroines in the series but she refused. After she said no to wearing a two-piece, there was talk of doing away with that entire sequence but the rest of the team felt the beach location was a lucky location for the series.
Kaif is still working very hard to stay in shape for the movie as it requires her to be more athletic. A source from Istanbul where she is shooting for Ek Tha Tiger, said “Katrina has a round-the-clock trainer with her in Istanbul who is currently training her in the rudiments of the physical-type required. She gets into advanced training on her return.”
Apparently Katrina’s character in Dhoom 3 would be “a mixture of Catwoman and Lara Croft, with a bit of Hema Malini from Seeta Aur Geeta thrown in.” Keep it locked on Urban Asian to find out all the latest news on “Dhoom 3!”
